The third phase of the Shanghai Bioenergy Reutilization Project is located in Laogang Town, Pudong New Area. At present, its main processing objects are wet waste, including food waste from restaurants and kitchen waste. Its service area covers the central urban area of Shanghai and the southern area of Pudong New Area. It consists of 12 steel-structured tank cones with a diameter of 15 meters and a height of 30 meters and several connecting corridors. The total solid weight of each dry anaerobic tank is more than 200 tons. The total amount of steel used in the entire project reaches more than 2,200 tons, and it covers an area of approximately 5,500 square meters.
